WHAT IS DTF

DTF is an abbreviation for "Direct to Film Transfer," a method employed to transform your designs into top-notch prints. This technique enables us to transfer customer-supplied designs onto personalized textile items or various surfaces. The DTF film can be transferred onto the surface of any of your garment, pillow, hat or bag. This is a fantastic option for items like t-shirts, hats, bags, pillows, and more.

HOW IT WORKS

Choose the image or text you wish to print and indicate the preferred size from the available choices.

AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

1. Position Your Design
Take your time and line up your artwork in the desired print area.
2. Press
Opt for an iron setting that matches the material you're working with. If that is not hot enough where the transfer is adhering to your shirt, increase it towards cotton/linen setting which is the hotter of the settings, making sure it won't burn your garment itself. Before pressing, place either parchment paper or a Protective Guard Sheet over the transfer for 20 seconds, exerting firm pressure.
3. Let it Cool, Then Peel
After pressing, let the transfer cool until it's touchable (at least 15-30 seconds). Once cool, lift the transfer from one corner and peel it back gently. As a rule in the process, refrain from using your hands; instead, use your eyes to ensure every part of your design adheres to the item. If not, refrain from peeling further and press again following the guidance below. If parts of the design don't transfer properly, and it was cool during peeling, it indicates insufficient heat, pressure, or time. Place the transfer back in position, press again with increased pressure and time initially (+5 seconds). If that doesn't resolve it, raise the heat setting until you achieve the correct balance. It's crucial to note that you can't overpress and damage the transfer itself.
4. Final Press
Place the parchment paper included or a single layer of t-shirt material over the design and press again for 15 seconds to soften the design, increase durability, and remove shine.

5. How To Wash
For optimal results, wash inside out with cold water. Since you're using an iron instead of a heat press (which applies heat with more pressure and evenness), it's advisable to air dry rather than using a dryer. If you opt for the dryer, we recommend low heat, inside out.
